Morning drive to Harbin, the city of “Ice World” as its main claim to fame. Upon arrival met and transfer to hotel. Visit the St. Sophia Church built in 1907. Then walk along the Central Avenue to see the Russian style architecture. Visit Ice & Snow World or Ice Light Exhibition after dinner.

Morning tour to the famous Songhua River to view the local winter swimming exercise, one of the features of Harbin’s Ice & Snow Festival, then go to visit the Sun Island Snow Carving Exhibition. You may also have your free time wandering around the riverbank or participate with the locals amusement activities. Later after lunch, drive to visit the Jile Temple, one of the most famous Buddhism Temple in North East China. Free shopping time in the late afternoon. Dinner will be a Russian Style Meal.

The highlight of today’s trip in Shenyang is the renowned Shenyang old Forbidden City. Shenyang was the capital city of the Qing Dynasty before the Qing emperor defeated the peasant army at the end of the Ming dynasty and conquered Beijing . The old Forbidden City is one of the only two massive palace complexes in China. Visit Xin Le Museum with a history for more than 7,000 years. For dinner, you will have the local delicacy Lao Bian Dumpling Feast
