Day 01 Chengdu

Upon arrival in Chengdu, you will be greeted by our CTS guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 02 Chengdu-Ya’an (B/L)

Morning visit the renowned Panda Breeding and Research Center in the city of Chengdu. After lunch, we take a ride to Ya’an by car. On the way, we tour the Old Town of ShangLi,which is called an “Ink and Wash Landscape” painting. Situated in the Western Sichuan Basin,the town was once the important post on the Silk Road of the South and the Ancient Tea-Horse Trail in history. Nestling among the hills, the town has a dense growth of evergreen trees. Two streams with distinctive scenery on the banks flow gently around the town. The slab-paved streets are flanked with various styles of residential houses and courtyards in a layout of the Chinese character “well”, which remain intact. The ancient bridges, ancient pagodas, ancient trees and ancient memorial archways are distributed in or near the town,contrasting finely with each other. The perfect combination of history, culture and tradition with natural beauty makes the town all of mystery and vitality. Accommodate at Ya’an.

Day 03 Ya’an-Chengdu (B/L)

We spend the whole morning at Ya’An BiFengXia Base of China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda, which is subordinate to China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda (CCRCGP) in Wolong Natural Reserve. It was established on December 28, 2003. The Base is a paradise of Giant Panda that combines the husbandry,reproduction, scientific research of Giant Panda and rescue of rare wild animals as well as science education together. The Paradise is divided into five major functional areas such as Feeding Areas, Breeding Area, Scientific Research Area, Office Area and Living Area of Giant Panda. The beautiful environment, favorable climate and luxuriantly green forest make the place an ideal place for sightseeing and tourism and important base for scientific education. Nowadays, The base breeds nearly 30 giant pandas; it’s the biggest captive giant panda institution in the world. Afternoon transferred back to Chengdu. Visit a local teahouse if time permits.

Day 04 Chengdu (B/L)

Transfer to the airport.
