Day 01: Auckland – Sydney – Hanoi
Fly to Sydney then connect on Vietnam Airlines to Hanoi, the dynamic capital of Vietnam. Upon
arrival, transfer to your hotel for 3 nights
Day 02: Hanoi (B/L)
Hanoi, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks, is the capital of Vietnam. It is a very attractive city with French style buildings and friendly people. Today you will enjoy a city tour with lunch at local restaurant. The tour includes One Pillar Pagoda, designed to resemble a lotus blossom, Temple of Literature; dedicated to Confucius, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; the fi nal resting place of Ho Chi Minh, St. Joseph Cathedral then take a rickshaw ride to “Old Quarters” where you can shop for local souvenirs
Day 03: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L on board the Junk)
After breakfast, drive east along Highway 5 across Hai Hung Province then take an excursion by boat through Halong Bay including Seafood lunch on board while cruising on a traditional wooden boat among the emerald water and craggy rock formations. Return to the pier and drive back to Hanoi
Day 04: Hanoi – Hue (B)
Morning at leisure until your transfer to Hanoi Airport for a fl ight to Hue. Upon arrival,
transfer to the hotel for 2 nights including breakfast
Day 05: Hue (B/L)
Full day City Tour in Hue including The Old Imperial City and the Imperial Tombs. A visit to
Dong Ba Market is where you will see the real life of local people.
Day 06: Hue – Hoi An (B)
This morning we drive to Hoi An passing Hai Van Pass, Lang Co and Danang. On the way, you will pass Truong Son Mountain range that is just south of China Sea which gives the spectacular
views. Arriving in Hoi An, check in at the hotel for 2 nights
Day 07: Hoi An (B/L)
Hoi An is a picturesque riverside town south of Danang. It was once the main port of Southeast
Asia thus so many beautiful architectures could be seen and best on a walking tour followed by
a boat trip on Thu Bon River.
Day 08: Hoi An – Danang – Saigon (B)
Morning drive to Danang Airport for a fl ight to Saigon. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel
and start a Half day city tour which includes important sites like Notre Dame Cathedral,The Central Post Offi ce, City Hall, Ben Thanh Market and Dong Khoi Street or “Rue Catinet” where you can do some shopping for local handicrafts
Day 09: Saigon (B)
Morning excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels, a 200km long network of tunnels connecting command posts, hospitals, shelters and weapon factories during Vietnam War. Afternoon: free to discover this dynamic city at your own pace.
Day 10: Saigon – Mekong Delta (B /L)
From Saigon, drive to Cai Be and tour thecolorful Floating Market by boat, continue through bywaters and canals on the Mekong Delta on Vinh Long. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 11: Can Tho - Saigon (B/L/D)
Today we will visit the largest and most bustling of the Mekong Delta markets, Cai Rang, which
best visit in early morning hours. Fruits and vegetables are hung on the long poles, a true
amazing place. Afternoon, drive back to Saigon for 1 more night
Day 12: Saigon – Siem Reap (B/L)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your fl ight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in for 2 nights. Afternoon: visit Angkor Wat Complex; start from the famous Angkor Wat, one of the world’s seven wonders. Then stop at the Angkorean Temple to watch
the sun setting over Cambodian countryside
Day 13: Siem Reap (B/L)
Visit more of this world famous Angkor Temples: Angkor Thom, a fortifi ed Royal City with fi ve monument gates where city’s most important monuments including Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and Ta Prohm Temple which parts of the temples are in the jungle.
Day 14: Siem Reap –Saigon - Sydney (B)
Morning, take an excursion to Tonle Sap (Great Lake) with a boat trip through the heart of
Cambodia where you will explore fl oating fi shing villages, submerged forest, shops and
restaurant in the middle of the lake. Late afternoon: Transfer to the airport for your overnight fl ight back to Sydney via Saigon.
Day 15: Sydney – Auckland
Morning arrive in Sydney, connect fl ight back to Auckland.
