Chengdu, is home to the Giant Panda sanctuary. It is located in southwest China, the capital
of Sichuan province. It is the 5th most populous city in China. Chengdu is also one of the most
important economic centres as well as transportation and communication hubs in China. More
than four thousand years ago, the prehistorical Bronze Age culture of Jinsha established itself in this
region. The fertile Chengdu Plain, on which Chengdu is located, is called “the Land of Abundance”.

Day 1 Arrival Chengdu

Upon arrival, you will be met by your CTS guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Chengdu Meal: B/L

Visit the renowned Panda Breeding and Research Center where they have created an area of the pandas' natural habitat in order that they might have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. More than a dozen pandas are born each year here and the Center also cares for other rare and endangered wild animals. In the afternoon, take a drive to Dujiangyan Dam, built more than 2,000 years ago before transfering back to the hotel.

Day 3: Chengdu departure Meal: B
