Travel Tips
Visas
A visa is required for entry to China for New Zealand Passport holders and can be processed with your confi rmed booking. Normally processing time is fi ve working days but can be rushed for an additional fee. Passport should have a blank page and six months validity.
Accommodation
CTS Tours has chosen 4-5 star quality hotels in China for the comfort and convenience of our clients. All rooms have modern facilities, private bathrooms and normally two twin beds rather than one double bed. They off er superior standards of service (shampoo and toiletries) and facilities (gym and some have a swimming pool).
Meals
A buff et-style western breakfast is provided to CTS clients each morning. The lunch venue is based on location but it is always a Chinese meal of 6-8 dishes and includes meat, rice, vegetables and sometimes fish with tea and one soft drink or beer. Evening meals will be a little more fl exible as, for most tours, we have included only one dinner in each city you will visit. China is renowned for her varied cuisines and we want you to be able to sample authentic local specialties. Please advise if you require special meals due to religious or
medical limitations.

Overall Fitness
Travelling in China can be quite demanding as full day sightseeing tours are included and a lot of walking is involved so travellers should be in good health and prepared for these conditions.
Booking Conditions
1. Prices are per person in New Zealand Dollars based on two people sharing a room in the lowest room category. Closeouts apply, seasonal surcharges apply.
2. Prices are valid for return Pacific Economy class airfares on Air New Zealand for travel from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch for travel July 2010---Feb 2011. Book NZ Intl “G” class/Domestic NZ “ H” class, CA within China “ L” class, CA between BJS-SHA "Q/L” class, CZ within China “H” class, CZ between HKG-China “Q” class, FM “S/M” class, FM between HKGSHA “S” class, HX “X/S” class, JL “O” class, MU between HKG-China “M” class, MU within China “X” class, UO “X/S” class. All services are subject to availability. Capacity limitations apply.
3. Min Stay: 3 nights. Max Stay: 28 days. Tickets must be issued within 7 days of reservation or if reservation within 7 days of departure then within 24 hours. Please also adhere to auto generated ticketing time limit whichever is earlier.
4. All private tours are based on a minimum 2 passengers, depart daily, including private air-conditioned vehicle, professional English speaking guide, lunch, and all entrance fees to attractions.
5. Seat-in-Coach tours and special programs must be booked in conjunction with a hotel reservation.
6. Seat-in-coach tour Includes: Pickup from your hotel around 08:30-09:00am (The local guide will contact you one day before departure), return transfer back to your hotel after tour, air-conditioned coach, English speaking guide, lunch ( per itinerary) and all entrance fees to attractions.
7. Optional tours require minimum 2 passengers which include: Transfers by private car, English speaking guide, entrance fee.
8. Seasonal ( Nov—Feb 11 )airfare surcharges apply from NZ$430.00/per person.
9. For all holidays in this fl yer you will required a valid passport. Visa fee is EXCLUDED in the price, Please arrange China Visa before you travel. If three passengers or over join the same tour and depart on the same day ex. HongKong to Discover Guangdong tour,we can offer Group Chinese Visa in free of charges for New Zealand or Australian Passport holders. Macau visa fee (required for certain nationalities) is to be paid by passengers on spot in Macau at additional cost.
10. Events beyond our control, such as currency fluctuations, changes to the price of aviation fuel or changes to the cost of services and facilities may result in the prices charged to you being different.
