Day 01 Arrival Shanghai
Arrival metropolitan Shanghai, Asia’s most amazing modern city, with its soaring skyline dwarfing the grand colonial structures. After clearing airport formalities, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel.
Day 02 Shanghai (B/L)
In the morning tour, we will visit the Bund, a popular promenade along the Huangpu River, where the old meets the modern in Shanghai. You may see the local people performing Tai Chi during your stroll along the bund. Afterwards, you will visit the Old Town with its winding alleyways, lined with shops, teahouses and restaurants, and to the elegant and tranquil Yu Garden. Afternoon tour the Shanghai Xintiandi, which is a new tourist attraction in downtown Shanghai, featuring the city's unique "Shikumen" houses and a maze of narrow alleys, which have been converted into specialist F & B, retail, entertainment and cultural facilities. Dinner will be on your own arrangement.
Day 03 Shanghai-Suzhou-Shanghai (B/L/D)
Full-day excursion to Suzhou, a small town famous for its classic gardens in the south of China and often so-called ‘Oriental Venice’ in Suzhou, you will visit the Garden of the Master of Fishing Net, Silk Spinning Mill and take a boat cruise on the Grand Canal constructed over 1,000 year ago in Sui Dynasty. If time permit, we take a short visit to newly renovated Shan Tang Street. In the early evening, we travel back to Shanghai by coach.
Day 04 Shanghai/Xi’an (B/L/D/)
In the morning, transferred to the airport by bus and Shanghai Maglev, the fastest train in the world for your flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival you will be met & transferred, and to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Old City Wall, which was constructed 600 years ago.
Day 05 Xi’an (B/L/D)
Morning, tour to the greatest archaeological discovery of the century, more than 2,000 year-old Terracotta Warriors interred with the Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Afternoon, we visit the Shaanxi History Museum. Have sumptuous dumpling dinner, and enjoy a traditional Tang Dynasty show after dinner.
Day 06 Xi’an/Beijing (B/L/D)
We fly to Beijing, the dynamic capital of the People's Republic of China this morning. Once the imperial city of Mongol, Ming and Manchu emperors, Beijing today is still extraordinarily rich in historical sites and cultural relics. Upon arrival into Beijing, tour to the Temple of Heaven, the 500 year old Temple houses altars on which sacrifices and offerings were laid to the gods in a glorious setting of gardens, tress and sculptures. We also visit the brand new Qianmen Street. We will have a dinner at the hotel.
Day 07 Beijing (B/L)
Morning tour to the Great Wall, stretching almost 4,000 miles from the Pacific Ocean to the sands of Central Asia and befittingly crowned one of the seven wonders of the world. Along the way, you will stopover at China National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and China National Aquatics Center (Water Cube) for taking photos, the stop at a jade carving factory where you can watch artisans at work. Continue to visit the Summer Palace, the largest and the best preserved of all imperial palace gardens, which boasts such delights as the famous Marble Boat and the ornately painted 'Long Corridor'. Dinner will be on your own arrangement.
Day 08 Beijing (B/L/D)
Tour starting with the Tian'anmen Square, the biggest public square in the world and Forbidden City, the vast complex of palaces, which was home to successive Emperors for more than 500 years. You will also be able to have a photo stop at the National Center for the Performing Arts, formerly known as the National Grand Theater, and colloquially described as The Egg. The Center, an ellipsoid dome of titanium and glass surrounded by an artificial lake, seats 6,500 people in the three halls and is 200,000 m2 in size. In the afternoon, shopping at the famous Silk Market or Yaxiu Market. For dinner enjoy a traditional Beijing Duck farewell banquet.
Day 09 Beijing/Hong Kong (B)
Free at leisure for last minute shopping or further explore this booming city on your own pace, prior to transferred to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, transferred to your hotel.
Day 10 Hong Kong (B//L)
In the morning, take a half-day tour to Hong Kong Island. Hong Kong Island is an intensely concentrated urban jungle sprinkled with glitters of past colonial era and colorful ancient traditions. Ride through the urban landscape to the more relaxing southern shore; experience the magic and the essence of the Pearl of the Orient in half a day. We visit Victoria Park, Aberdeen Fishing Village, Repulse Way Lookout, and Stanley Market. Enjoy Dim Sum Lunch at the famous Jumbo Floating Restaurant. Afternoon will be free at leisure or go shopping till your dropping.
Day 11 Hong Kong/Departure (B)
Today you will have free time to go shopping or explore more of Hong Kong by yourself before transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
